چکیده
The declining freshwater resources can be overcome using thermal desalination methods such as solar still. However, the productivity of a still is highly dependent on environment and design. In this study, an improvement passive with partially coated condensation cover thermoelectric cooling system was made. effect varying power (12 W 36 W) investigated compared reference under tropical weather conditions Malaysia. performance analysed in detail based yield, energy, exergy, environmental economic aspects. results showed that production could increased by up to 126% capacity. energy efficiency improved 44%, but exergy decreased 25% matrices show minimum payback time maximum factor for glass are 6.55 years 0.15, respectively. amount carbon dioxide mitigated modified 2.97 tonnes CO2 lifetime. lowest cost per litre found $0.036 W. highest exergo-economic enviro-economic values were 4.64 kWh/$ $83.21,

Energy and Exergy Analysis of Air PV/T Collector of Forced Convection with and without Glass Cover
In this study, the overall performance of air PV/T, based on energy and exergy analysis has been investigated. Two combinations of air PV/T, which consist of unglazed and glazed air PV/T, are considered. Thermal analysis and numerical calculations were carried out, and the performance parameters of the system for the climate conditions of Kerman were studied. The results are presented in graphs...
متن کاملPartially Polynomial Kernels for Set Cover and Test Cover
In a typical covering problem we are given a universe U of size n, a family S (S could be given implicitly) of sizem and an integer k and the objective is to check whether there exists a subfamily S ′ ⊆ S of size at most k satisfying some desired properties. If S ′ is required to contain all the elements of U then it corresponds to the classical Set Cover problem. On the other hand if we requir...
متن کاملEnvironmental study of waste energy recovery by using exergy and economic analysis in a fluid catalytic cracking unit
An increase in fossil fuel consumption has significantly increased the concentration of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Waste energy recovery can reduce GHGs by reducing fossil fuel consumption. In the FCC unit in refineries, the catalyst is continuously regenerated by burning off the deposited coke with air and a large flux of waste gas with high temperature is generated which is vented into the atmo...
متن کاملExergy Analysis of Evaporative Cooling for Optimum Energy Consumption in Diverse Climate Conditions
In this paper, exergy of conditioned air, exergy efficiency, irreversibility, and entropy generation of common models of evaporative cooling have been investigated in five cities of Iran. Direct evaporative cooling (DEC), indirect evaporative cooling (IEC), and two-stage IEC/DEC as the most popular methods of cooling have been modeled. Atmospheric conditions are considered as the dead state of ...

Nowadays, energy plays an important role in the economic and community development of country. Consequently, performance analysis of energy systems is one of the effective methods being used to prevent waste of energy resources. Among the different power generation technologies, steam power plants make a significant contribution to power generation in Iran, with a share of 47 % of electricity g...
